Anthony Hooley on Sea Trout in Tierra Del Fuego
Anthony's article in July's Fly-Fishing and Fly Tying magazine pages 68 to 71 is fantastic. It shows the amazing Tierra del Fuego Sea Trout where he had 4 of over 20lb's, some of which were captured on The Essential Fly flies including as Anthony said:
"Hi there, many thanks for the flys!!!thought you would like to know that the BH Brown woolly bugger, landed me 2 very large trout over 20lb...... The ones you sent actually had brown legs, the tail was also an ochre/orange brown, this was an absolute killer pattern, so... the question is are these a standard pattern? can they be tied on stronger hooks for sea trout?"
Congratulations Anthony on a great article and superb fish.....from all of us at TEF. The specific killer patterns are of course ready for your trip next year......can I bring them personally ?
