Blobs including patterns like Sunburst Yellow Blob have become a mainstay of UK stillwater fly fishing, love them or hate them! Effective on stocked fisheries Sunburst Yellow Blob can be used suspended below an indicator or bung. Sunburst Yellow Blob also are able to be fished with floatant 'bottom-up', use a short leader (often as little as 2 or 3 feet) on a sinking line. A short retrieve of the Sunburst Yellow Blob will cause it to dive when retrieve then raise again in the water. Best fished dlow but occassional sharp figure of 8 retrieves can trigger trout attacks.
Key to fishing blobs is to learn the 'hang' suspending a static or extremely slow moving blob which can work with spooky or fish that are under heavy fishing pressure.

Excellent fly which i used on the bung on the top dropper caught me several fish a very good fly to have in your box you won’t be disappointed.
