Stunning Salmon Flies designed by Canadian Pro Atlantic Salmon Tyer Jacques Héroux!
When asked for the history and development of these flies, Jacques told us : "The original Green machine, Shady Lady and Smurf are really bugs flies tied with Deer hair. But 15 years ago,the famous Canadian Atlantic Salmon fly tyer Warren Duncan showed me a new set of salmon bugs tied with wool instead of deer hair. Anglers found them better to fish with and these new patterns are also really good for sea run trout.
Last year, when I received samples of Straggle String from Semperfli, I decided to create a new set of bugs for Atlantic Salmon and Sea Trout based on the bugs created by Warren Duncan.
Just to tell you how good they are, last summer I hooked and released a 20 pounds Atlantic Salmon on the famous Restigouche River with a # 6 hook Jacques Bug - White Tailed Green Machine!"
They sure sound like winners to us! Great work Jacques!
