A very robust pair of de-barbing pliers which are bright to see and therefor not likely to get lost. Very handy on my trip to North Yorkshire last week when I put a 16 NCS through my left ring finger top pad having stupidly not de-barbed it before making my way upstream. Why does a hook come out of a trout so easily but stays rooted in your finger. Anyway the pliers cut through the eye and scissors removed the dressing and I was able to push the hook through and out.
In future I will ensure that all my river hooks are de-barbed BEFORE I start fishing. A good piece of kit.
