Super September!

We know, time flies when you’re having fun! The end of the season is near, be prepared!

We’re almost in September and you need to be prepared with these flies, end the trout season on a high!

River fishing in September can be phenomenal and we usually get some nice warm and dry weather, which is music to the ears of a river angler after all the wet weather we’ve had this season! Fingers crossed we have a good end to the season!

With the hope of settled and dry weather we can hopefully catch one or two hatches meaning you don’t need to put the dry fly rod away just yet! there’s still time for us to tempt an end of season trout, and who knows, it might just be the trophy trout you’ve been dreaming of!

As we stated above, in September we can have some wonderful dry fly action! Sedges are a great fly and you should always have a few in your box! Particularly if you’re fishing into the evening. Here are a few that have cemented their place in the TEF fly box!
