Zense Rods
The Zense fly rods are based on the most advanced, high technological, progressive quality nano-carbon blanks available. Arctic Ailver Zonse fly rods are made with a carbon fibre mix consisting of mainly 46t carbon. The use of top quality carbon fibres combined with a IM8 Nano Matrix Resin, ensures roda that are not only lighter and stronger, but are also more durable, flexible and sensitive.*
In addition to using the best materials available Arctic Silver chose Flex Profiles (how much tof a rod that bends when moderatly loaded) and Recovery Speeds (the time it takes for a bent rod to straighten) to optimize different fly fishing situations, casting styles and fisher personalities. - All Zense fly rods are equipped with top quality Titanum stripping guides and hard chrome plated snake guides.
- The rods are built on 4-piece blanks.
- The handle is made of high modular carbon-based materials (40%) with extreme strength and low weight.
- The design-protected Quick-Lock system is a user-friendly reel seat with a spring-loaded lock system that locks the reel into place. With one simple movement, it secures and firmly holes the reel in position.
- The Quick-Lock system is 100% CNC-machined and made out of aluminium 6061 with a tolerance of +/- 0.05mm.
- All aluminium parts are corrosion-treated with a Hard Anodizing process.
*The IM8 Nano Resin allows carbon fibres to persom a lot better. It consists of high concentrations of spherical nan-sized particles that are small enough to flow between the filaments of carbon fibre, providing a dense matrix of strength throughout the blank. With more than 40% Nano particles, the IM8 Nano Resin will ensure performance when it really counts.
