Royal Wulff Products company are responsible for all the Royal Wulff family of fly lines for freshwater and saltwater fishing, the company was founded by Lee & Joan Wulff. The range includes fly lines like the Triangle Taper Line, the Ambush Triangle Taper, Spey and Bamboo fly lines. Royal Wulff have a range of fly line profiles which include shooting heads, floating, intermediate, sink-tip, and sinking lines for trout, salmon and tropical saltwater fishing. Indeed Royal Wulff has a fly line for every type of fly fishing. Lee Wulff was a founding father of modern fly fishing, a conservationist who made massive contributions to the sport of fly fishing. He designed three innovative dry flies to fish with on the Esopus and other Catskill rivers. He called the flies the Ausable Gray, Coffin May and Bucktail Coachman designed to be different from the anaemic catskill sytle flies.Joan Wulff is first and foremost the preeminent female fly fisher, casting instructor, author, angler, and fly fishing personality. Her casting was so prolific that Joan won 17 national titles from 1943-1960. It all boiled down to her impeccable technique. With the incredible skill and knowledge of Lee and Joan there is no surprise that they have created an incredible range of fly lines.
