New Hatch Chart Available & New Products Launched!

September is typically the last month of Trout fishing (in most of the UK). Wether you are fishing on rivers or stillwaters this month is ideal for larger terrestrials, on warmer days you might find the odd cranefly / daddy flying around the place too.

Daddy or Crane flies are land dwellers and the wind blows them into the water, where they are devoured by Trout (like we would a Scone with Clotted Cream and Jam!)
They hatch on cool humid mornings in the ground and are not terribly strong at flying and is costantly being blown about by the wind.

When they land on the water their legs act as a trigger to the fish as they try to take off, so keep twitching your fly!
