Mohicans including Barbless Marsden Mohican Iridescent & Red are designed as a highly versatile fly. Then can be initially floated (without floatant) allowing the fur to leave the Barbless Marsden Mohican Iridescent & Red laying flat on the surface. Early morning and evening this technique with Barbless Marsden Mohican Iridescent & Red is deadly with trout rising confidently and hitting the Barbless Marsden Mohican Iridescent & Red which looks like a leaf with a nymph underneath. The original design was as a highly mobile streamer / nymph pattern. Semperfli Straggle String is used as a thorax to 'throw' the Mohican's wing upwards leaving it highly mobile in the water. Retrieved with a slow figure or eight with regular pauses and then a rapid jerk movement of 1m / 1 yards provokes trout into attaching this fly visciously.
