Yesterday, and on previous occasions lately, the fish have been sulking badly and ignoring all my lure choices on a small stillwater I know well. When all else fails, I tackle up with a floating line, 15ft of leader and a Rainbow Buzzer on the point, with other buzzer choices on the two droppers. I haven't failed to take my ticket back of these big rainbows yet when all others about me are walking off with light bags. I retrieve with a slow but jerky figure of 8 and sometimes nearly get my arm ripped off with the savage takes. -always to the point fly. Buzzer fishing is not my favourite but with the Rainbow Buzzer, it certainly catches the rainbows.
