Our alternative to Krystal Flash - Mylar Tinsel
Sparklemet is our own version of Krystal Flash - a highly reflective corrugated winging material nut at a fraction of the cost of some manufacturers. It is a deeply fluorescent standard material with pulsating micro monofilaments, giving it unique fish catching properties. Sparklemet is a thin, flexible tinsel that gives lifelike flash and breathing action. Mix in with other fibers to enhance streamers and saltwater baitfish patterns. Flashabou has become an essential saltwater fly tying ingredient, Sparklemet gives even better price / performance than the original Flashabou.
Each package contains approximately 150 strands of 12" Flashabou fibers. It is a super strong fiber that won't matte as it swims and flows through the water, it really attracts fish. Sparklemet comes in a large range of colours including a superb luminous version to add to those deep water lures.
