The Essential Challenge

Simply use the voucher code from the current competition copy of Fly Fishing and Fly Tying to get a free copy of the competition pack. Your mystery box will contain up to 4 materials, you must use a minimum of 2 or 3 (specified in the rules each month) of these with any materials / hooks from your own tying box that you like to create 2 duplicate copies of the flies and send the pack to the judges by the close date. The pack contains a form for your entry details, it is that simple! 

Please be aware that there is a limited number of entries and packs available.  So entries are accepted on a first come first served basis. 

Who knows what this months pack will contain?

We have lots of goodies planned, ranging from our superb luminous sparklemet, great petrol coloured beadheads, bodywire, deer hair, marabou feathers, hooks or deer hair. We even have brass tubes and materials for salmon and sea trout fishermen so there will always be a chellenge. You can add any materials, we simoply must be able to see the supplied materials for your entry. What can you tie? Simply - Anything, tube fly, trout lure, buzer, dry fly or hairwing salmon fly. The competition is looking for innovation, so the more your flies stand out and more innovative you are the more likelyhook of winning and showing your excellence as a fly tyer and designer.

What does it cost?

If you do not get the free entry code from Fly Fishing and Fly Tying this competition pack will cost £9.99, so we'd highly recommend that you go an purchase Fly Fishing and Fly Tying and get your free entry - besides the magazine is superb value for money!

So what do I do next?   How do I enter? 

Basically you are making an online purchase but if you have the voucher code there is no fee to pay. IF YOU HAVE THE VOUCHER CODE FROM THE MAGAZINE - DO NOT ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER - YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED.  A charge will only be made if you do not have the code and enter your credit card number online.

1. Scroll down the page a little and click the 'Add To Basket' button.  This will take you to a shopping basket for your Competition Pack order. 
2. In the box called 'Coupon/Voucher' enter this month's code
3. Click the 'Update Basket' button and you will see the total price of your order become zero! 
4. Next click the 'Checkout' button and enter your details so we may post your pack out to you.
5. Click  the 'Submit and Continue' button to get to the next page
6. If you are happy to proceed, tick the 'I accept the Terms and Conditions button and complete your online exercise
