Andy

Andy is Managing Director of The Essential Fly. A passionate fisherman Andy has fished all around the world for fish as diverse as Sailfish and Marlin in Australia, Cobb in South Africa, Mahseer in the Himalayas and Brown Trout in the River Wye!

Ann

Ann, Sales and Marketing Director,  is relatively new to fishing, having been dragged in by Andy! However now she is really enjoying the sport. Also a vegetarian and Reiki Master one thing is guaranteed, every fish is put back gently with love ...........ahhh!

Terry

Terry runs our warehouse and back-office functions. Terry is Mr Happy in the team, always singing and whistling! Terry is first to answer the telephone and deal with customer queries.

Nigel is a 'worm dangler'by hobby (still someone has to!)  Having run major warehouse systems and SAP installations Nigel is ideal to ensure that the back office and systems tick ensuring that orders reach customers in the quickest possible time.

Sandy

Sandy has been tying flies commercially for decades. A prolific tyer and designer. Sandy is responsible for the deadly Blank Buster range and many top flies available today. Sandy has previously worked for Fulling Mill and Crystal River and has been responsible for bringing in many fly tying items that are in common use today.

 Annie

Ann is financial accountant for the group and keeps sales, purchase legers in check ensuring that we have capacity from growth which has been running at over 100% per annum.

Sarah

Sarah runs front of house at all of our shows. Sarah also regularly helps out with customer services and back office sytems.

Darius

Darius runs the retail displays at all of our shows ensuring that all products are displayed beautifully and available for customers.
