Allys Cascade, was created by Alistair Gowans, creator of the Allyss Shrimp range of flies which probably account for more salmon than almost any other salmon fly. The Allys Cascade has accounted for many sea trout and other fish as well as the Atlantic salmon. Allys Cascade can produce fish in almost any conditions and at any time of year. In the summer tiny Allys Cascade tied on size 12 hooks or even smaller doubles or trebles will take fish in the very low water, they can be great fun skated along the water.
