The Humungus is a great trout lure / streamer. Fish the Humungus with an intermediate line for shallow water and DI7 for deep water, the Humungus lures / streamers will give great results but as with all trout lures / streamers you must vary the retrieve.  Rainbow trout and brown trout will hit the Humungus very hard so make sure you are fishing a strong leader to avoid being snapped.

These flies catch fish, First outing this year I landed two beautiful trout, one weighed in @ 4lb, the other weighed in @ 5lb. Fished on a long leader with slow retrieve, certainly did the business. Beautifully tied.
