Emphera Ignita - Blue Winged Olive

An important fly from May until September, especially around rivers. From mid June to mid August it hatches mainly in the evenings, hatchign at daytime for the rest of its season.

The Emphera Ignita - Blue WInged Olive is one of the most important upwinged river flies. Many patterns exist imitating this fly.
