I had great difficulty threading a 4lb leader. It was only when I used a watchmaker's glass that I realised the eye was blocked with varnish. This happened 4 times with different flies.
nymphs look well dressed/ was somewhat surprised to not find any pinks - apparently grayling's favourite colour - in there/ did not have time yet to test them, hence the jury on catch success is still out/ fast reliable and well packed and documented service though
these are ok for coloured water, but for chalksteams I believe something slimmer, drabber, smaller and with more weight to get down fast, would help with those hard to reach fish.
nymphs look great and well made, but I am told by others that know, that they are over-dressed. Would be better much slimmer, and with some smaller examples. Also I would have bought a barbless hook version if it was available
