Having been fishing this Sunday afternoon for 4 hours without a single bite, i remembered i had the Blank Buster's in my second fly box. Given the sunny weather i followed the website's advice and went with the Orange one; and within two casts I had my first fish of the day - much to the amazement of the other 4 fishermen at the water who were also drawing a blank..... As dusk fell (and after two fish on the Orange) I switched to the Sparklemet Lumi and on the thrid cast was hit by such a fierce strike it clean snapped the 5lb leader So i will be buying some more....
These flies do exactly what they do on the tin. Within 45 minutes of fishing on a terrible day I had caught a 9lb 2oz and 10lb 4oz Rainbow trout then went on to catch another 6 fish within a four hour period. These flies were catching when others around hadn't so much as a nibble. Excellent job and great fishing. Would recommend them and already have.
used these twice now, first trip I caught a few trout using these especially Blue's!! second trip not a touch!!! however as trout have sharp little teeth, they shredded these buzzers very quickly, 1 to 2 fish and they were bare hooks. A bit disappointed they did not last longer,
extremely please with the whole process, from ordering the product to the final delivery, I'm off to our local fishery tomorrow and will put them to the test, the flash attack ones look particulurly good. more people should find out about the essential fly company the service is excellent and the products first class.
